Best of 2008 Contest

It's time for the second annual best photo of the year contest.  I have chosen a few of my favorite images from this year, and you get to vote for your favorite.  There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and also one voter will win a prize.  So what are you waiting for?  Just leave a comment on this blog posting with your vote and you will be entered to win.  Results will be announced on Wednesday, January 7th.  Thanks for a great year!

    Wow! I like them all, but I am voting for number 1. I happened to see this picture posted in a dentist office along with photo cards from other patients, and had to ask about this photo. Beautiful!

    I vote for the sandy feet. While they are all great . . .the #9 feet photo displays a black and white image with great features. It also highlights a different element of photography b/c the ’08 image was in color.
    Running a close 2nd would be #1. .it has great color!

    I dont know how you narrowed it to ten! love #1–stunning blue eyes and beautiful colors, but #7 is amazing–you got the perfect shot! You always capture “the spirit” of each subject so well. It’s #7 for me.

    #9 all the way. The tilted horizon and iconic pose immediately grab your attention, but beyond that there are many subtle qualities (like the contrast in focus) that hold it. I think it’s strong enough to be used in your promotional materials. It would make a great billboard!

    I love all of your pictures, #12 and #7 are too sweet ( both are beautiful). I was torn between #5 (I am a sucker for a pouty little girl), however #1 just jumps out at me. The colors and precious little angel call for being put in picture frames across the land.
